A couple of months ago I was involved and injured in an accident at work - this has had a very bad impact on my overall life, so much so that I am unable to continue in my line of work. In my opinion there is absolutely no doubt that my employer was at fault as the relevant procedures were not in place that would have avoided such a situation from taking place. As you can no doubt imagine this has left me feeling some what angry, very frustrated and also very much out of pocket. A good friend of mine suggested that I seek help and advice from a compensation solicitor which is what I have duly done - in this article I will be writing about what, in my opinion, makes a good compensation solicitor.

To start with and probably the most essential element was the fact that I would receive one hundred percent of any compensation payout - some of you may think that this is a given however if you do you are sadly mistaken. This is something to bare in mind and to certainly question before you sign up with any compensation solicitor.

I was also looking for a solicitor who had had previous experience, and successful experience at that, with dealing with my type of case. I, of course, was eager for success and therefore I wanted to have confidence that this would be obtained.

For me signing up with a well established and reputable company was also of major importance as this would likely to be significant when the judge or whoever else makes the final verdict comes to a decision. A new fly by night company that has just entered the market place was not what I was looking for.

I have now completed my sourcing of this solicitor and I am more than happy with my decision - I just hope that justice is now served.
